The Miss Lights of the Delta and Lights of the Delta's Outstanding Teen Pageants are Miss Arkansas & Arkansas' Outstanding Teen preliminary pageants.  The winners go on to represent our area at these pageants each summer.  The pageants themselves are conducted and co-sponsored by the Northeast Arkansas Pageant Association, Inc.  This group also conducts the Miss Northeast Arkansas pageants.  The Lights of the Delta pageants are open to any eligible young lady in Arkansas and have been held for four years the weekend following Thanksgiving.  The queens work to support the lights by coming out and volunteering time at the front gate and entertaining at the Santa stage.  They also make numerous appearances throughout the year representing their crown and the lights.  To see more about what the queens do and the history of the pageant, visit the Miss NEA website at www.missnea.org
